"Quarto," the 4th
After binding my own sketchbook for my travels in 2012 with Terzo, I knew I wanted to keep the tradition going. Quarto, "fourth" in Italian, is my fourth sketchbook I have taken on my travels in Europe, and the second I have made from scratch.
Quarto is covered with some wine colored faux leather, inside she's lined with linen fabric. I wanted to have the cover be a little more interesting so a blanket stitch goes around all the edges. Inside there are 8 signatures of 5 folios each, totaling to 80 pages front and back. The pages consist of watercolor and drawing paper, butcher paper, graph paper and some other assort paper I had lying around at the time.
Sketches were created between June 16 - August 26.
